It is always a sports season for something in the Bluegrass State, and what goes with sports? Wings!
Finding good wings can be an unfortunate challenge, depending on your location. This precious chicken part is often available, but can be dry, overcooked— or worse, it can appear to be from a mere chick. There are quite a few restaurants that serve up mouthwatering wings in Kentucky. When you locate one that impresses you, it is best to stick with them. There are chains like KFC that do chicken right almost anywhere. However, wings are special… so it is good to find a place that recognizes their worth and really does it right.

There were not a lot of images to be found, but they have the reputation of being the best place to get wings in the Covington area. Though they are express, they are hot, fresh and flavorful.
10. Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers on 8020 Burlington Pike in Florence
This place is so popular the police had to direct traffic for customers at one point. They have fresh chicken, fantastic Texas Toast and average fixin’s, but they serve excellent sweet tea.

9. Buffalo Wings and Rings on 2809 Dixie Hwy in Crestview Hills
They serve up wings with multiple sauces plus dipping. The boneless wings melt in your mouth and the regulars just fall off the bone. They pair up great with their special fries.

This is just a great place to go hang with friends and enjoy a sporting event. They have the best game food, starting with their delicious wings and moving on to personal pizzas. Everything is hot, fresh and goes great with a beer.

The portions are generous, the service friendly and the spice perfect at Nashville Hot. Whatever level of spice you request will be what you want, so if you go with the spiciest they have, expect that burn. The sides are also memorable, especially the sweet potato fries.

Great service, fast, fresh food and an excellent variety can be found here. Everything is cooked up fresh to order and the descriptions, nor images do the actual food justice. You will want to go back repeatedly for wings, catfish, and frog legs.

The smoked wings are big and flavorful. Don’t expect tiny wings that look like they came off a chicklet, as five wings can put a big dent in your appetite. The wings are not sauced, but instead have a flavorful rub. All their sides are great too, especially the seasoned fries.
