Move over tacos, it’s time to talk about burritos. Tacos get all the glory when it comes to Mexican restaurants, we even dedicate Tuesdays to eating them! But burritos are the underrated dish on Mexican menus and it’s time to shine some light on them. For one of the biggest burritos in New Orleans, you’ve got to make your way over to Juan’s Flying Burrito, where you’ll be treated to a burrito that’s as big as your head.
Juan’s opened up in 1997 and they’ve been a neighborhood favorite ever since.
Inspired by the San Francisco Mission style burrito joints that peppered the California town in the 80s and 90s, this Tex-Mex Creole Taqueria now have four locations around the city, so you’re never too far away from some tasty Tex-Mex.
No mater which location you visit, you’re in for a treat.
These things are as big as the table, making them the perfect appetizer to share! They’re so good though, we don’t blame you if you want them all to yourself.
And of course, you can count on Juan’s to have some of the most incredible burritos in New Orleans.
