While most of these light displays are in individual yards, others are located at some of the state’s best-known attractions. One light display in particular is the super magical “Galaxy of Lights,” which you can read all about below. Located at the Huntsville Botanical Garden, “Galaxy of Lights” happens to have some of the best Christmas lights in Alabama.

"Galaxy of Lights" is an annual Christmas lights display that's located at Huntsville Botanical Garden in Huntsville, Alabama. It's one of the state's most magical Christmas attractions and offers both walking and driving nights.

For Garden of Lights 2023, the season will run from Nov. 17 through Dec. 31, 2023. The nights designated for the drive-thru lights will be Dec. 4-14 and Dec. 26-31, 2023. Walking nights are Nov. 17-26, 27, and 29-30, 2023. And there are designated dog-walking nights every Monday and Tuesday during the walk-thru lights nights that include Nov. 20-21 and Dec. 18-19, 2023.
