We often share local breweries around Cincinnati because these are favorite hangout spots in the city and there are so many from which to choose! The Queen City is a craft beer lover’s mecca and it’s gaining more and more breweries, brewpubs, and experiences on a regular basis. The transforming neighborhood of Pendleton is home to the newest hangout spot in the city, as the massive BrewDog Cincinnati is now open. Experience thousands of square feet of craft beer, great food, games, and more.
So many of our historic buildings are being repurposed and, given our city's past, it seems appropriate that many of them are related to the brewing industry.
The Pendleton neighborhood, next to OTR and the casino near downtown, is no exception to this and is now home to a massive new brewpub. BrewDog Cincinnati is open and it's quite impressive.
BrewDog started in Scotland and has spread like crazy into an international market with another home base in Columbus, Ohio.
Perhaps you've heard of the world's first beer hotel. That passion for craft beer has now arrived in Cincinnati with an 8,500-square-foot space that offers craft beer, dining, games, a patio, a beer school space, and more.

BrewDog is, of course, known for its beer and in a town like Cincinnati, it fits right in with the local scene.
This company is very passionate about the beer that it brews, as well as the people who work for the business and those who consume their creations. BrewDog gives back 20% of its earnings - 10% to its employees and 10% to charity.
Especially for a brewery, it has a large menu that offers something for everyone. And, of course, all of the snacks and meals perfectly accompany the brews.

The patio area overlooks the historic and scenic neighborhood. You can tell from this photo just how close the brewpub is to the casino and other nearby restaurants and attractions.
Time will tell if this massive brewery can blend right in with the smaller, local craft breweries that we all know and love.
The reviews and feedback are looking good, so it seems like the newest location for BrewDog is here to stay and is yet another reason that Cincinnati has become a true craft beer destination.
