For all of those who can’t get enough of cute animals, the Dallas Zoo has a Christmas lights drive through event you should check out! Here in Texas during the holiday season, we do things like hang barbed wire wreaths, savor our beloved fruitcake, an age-old tradition, and apply the, “Everything’s bigger in Texas” saying to our holiday decor preferences. Along with the interesting ones, we also have some weird Christmas traditions in Texas as well, like eating tamales for breakfast and eating brisket rather than the turkey or ham most of the rest of the country enjoys.
