How long has Deanna Rose been around?
The Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead is a portal to what life was like on the Frontier in the early 1900s. Helen’s Country Schoolhouse is a replica of a typical one-room schoolhouse of the day showing children (and us interested adults) what it was like to go to school when our grandparents and great-grandparents had to walk to school uphill both ways in the snow. The Farmstead also has a blacksmith, mining camp, barber shop, and of course the farm itself with over 250 animals. Established in 1978 the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead is a wonderful place to visit any time of year, but especially around the holidays when it is decked out in festive fun.
