Cute, charming, and tasty restaurants are found along every downtown in Minnesota. The city of White Bear Lake is no different. Though White Bear Lake’s population of 25,000 makes it quite a bit larger than Minnesota’s most charming small towns, its downtown rivals the best of them. This is partly thanks to a charming restaurant known as the Cobblestone Cafe. Next time you’re in the area, stop in for a great meal in a lovely atmosphere.
Cobblestone Cafe is a lovely anchor in the heart of downtown White Bear Lake. It's been around in some form since 1947, when it first opened as a malt shop.
Since its inception three quarters of a century ago, the restaurant has been a hub for locals. This has always been a spot to gather, and it's no wonder.
And when you open the menu, the familiar choices will make you feel right at home. In the morning, try waking up with a hearty Cobblestone Cafe breakfast. Bacon and eggs, pancakes, omelets, and hashbrowns are favorites.
Later in the day, you might be more in the mood for a sandwich. Cobblestone Cafe has you covered with several classic options. Lighter fare such as salads and soups are also staples at this restaurant.
Or if your sweet tooth has a hankering for something sugary, try a cinnamon roll! Order one with a cup of coffee for the most delicious sweet breakfast around.
All in all, Cobblestone Cafe still delivers fantastic food in a welcoming environment after all these years. Next time you're craving homestyle food, step inside this charming downtown White Bear Lake restaurant.
