Even if you’re a natural morning person, the idea of being up at 5 a.m. probably isn’t all that appealing, much less working at that hour. But by the time the crew at Taunton Avenue Bakery in East Providence opens their doors, they’ve already been baking for hours. But rest assured, their authentic Portuguese breads and pastries are well worth leaving your warm, cozy bed to indulge in.
The bakery itself is much older, but unfortunately, they had to close their doors for awhile after a fire at the original location.
And the artisan bread selection is out of this world.
