Being in business for decades is a huge milestone for any restaurant. It’s even more impressive when said restaurant is located in a small town – and that’s exactly the case with Hamburger House in Mize, which serves up what is arguably the state’s best hamburger. Take a look:
When it comes to small towns, it doesn’t get much smaller than Mize, which is home to about 300 residents.
As is the case with most small towns, Mize is pretty charming. Not only is it known as the Watermelon Capital of the World, but it hosts the annual Mississippi Watermelon Festival.
In business for decades, Hamburger House has garnered a reputation for its mouthwatering burgers, which explains why the parking lot is normally packed despite its small town locale.
And "best" is no exaggeration. In addition to several awards, Hamburger House consistently receives rave reviews from customers, bragging about the out-of-this-world burgers.
In addition to a variety of sandwiches and southern staples, like hamburger steak and chicken fried steak, the menu features breakfast favorites, such as bacon, grits, and biscuits.
Ready to give Mississippi’s best burger a try? Visit Hamburger House Wednesday – Saturday 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. For more information, call (601) 733-0061. You can also check out the eatery’s Facebook page.
