Arkansas has quite a few magical places for a day trip but for an immersive experience you’ll want to bring your family to this upcoming event. Festival of the Faeries on October 12th, 2019 will be quite the magical undertaking. Come dressed as your favorite magical creature and join in the celebrations!
Fairies, gnomes, wizards, dragons, and humans are all invited to the upcoming Festival of the Faeries.
This outdoor festival has a little bit of everything. The two-day event celebrates the full moon but also has folk art, music, food, and other activities. The festival begins on October 12th, 2019 at 11 am and lasts until midnight. Camping is available but does have limited spots. The gathering will take place outside of Eureka Springs at The Secret Gates in Gateway, AR.
Come dressed as your favorite fantasy character and listen to multiple genres of local music.
The musical ensembles will have a mix from acoustics that'll delight fairy folk to harder rock for trolls' ears. In addition to music, performers like fire dancers and hula hoopers will also be roaming around.
This outdoor festival is family friendly and children under the age of 12 are free. Normal admission is $20/day with weekend, camping, and early bird passes available as well. Head to the festival's website to get your early bird tickets soon.
