Connecticut is full of haunted attractions designed to incite fright during the Halloween season. But for those who are younger and not ready for the monsters and mayhem or those adults who prefer the not-so-scary side of the holiday, you’ll want to find someplace a little tamer. Each year, the town of East Hampton turns into a pumpkin wonderland and it’s the perfect destination for a family outing. Pumpkinland U.S.A. is a non-scary village of pumpkinheads that comes to life for six weeks each fall and it is full of Halloween magic for even the youngest of visitors.
