If you’re a dog-lover living in Utah, you certainly know about the important work that Best Friends Animal Society does here, and all around the country. This incredible non-profit organization got its start right here in the Beehive State, with its sanctuary down in Kanab. Now it has locations all over the U.S., and its Strut Your Mutt is its biggest fundraiser. It’s coming up soon, and you’re going to want to attend!
Best Friends Animal Society has a very simple goal: Save Them All.
Every day, more than 2,000 dogs and cats are euthanized in shelters all across the country. Best Friends wants to make that number zero.
Strut Your Mutt is a huge fundraiser to help the organization reach its goal. This year's event in Salt Lake City will be held Saturday, October 12th at Liberty Park from noon to 4 p.m.
This entire event is geared around pets, so of course they'll be taking good care of our canines with water stations and tons of fun pet areas with games
Make sure to allow some time to check out all the booths and vendors. The Pooch Pavilion has paw painting, dog biscuit decorating, kids activities, and more.
