Sometimes we just want to sit back and watch our beautiful scenery around us. However, when you want something more exciting, you’ll have to look a little harder. Eisenhower state park is a beautiful place, but beauty only gets you so far. Good thing they also have archery, kayaking, and more! If you’re looking for a day full of adventure, this state park is the place to go.
Welcome to Eisenhower State Park, where you can not only enjoy the natural landscape on foot but also participate in many other activities.
This park is home to 1,000 acres of tallgrass prairie, 6,930 acres of Melvern Lake, and 400 more acres of woodland areas. That's plenty of space to explore, but also plenty of space for activities.
Part of their location is home to archery, a fun pastime that many people often overlook. Whether you like to hit circle targets or something a little more interesting, we're sure there's something out there for you to shoot.
If you're a fan of the water, then kayaking on a peaceful lake is one of the best things you can do here at Eisenhower. We recommend sunrise for the most beautiful experience of having the sky reflect on the water.
If you're more into relaxing, you'll find that all of their campsites, cabins, and yurts offer plenty of different experiences for you to find the perfect spot. They even have a "cowboy campground" available for you to camp out with your horses and enjoy a more primitive camping experience with them.
