With October right on our heels, you’ve probably spotted all sorts of haunted attractions popping up throughout the state. Many of them are destinations that are widely loved by their communities as they come back each and every Halloween season. Today we’re featuring a haunted attraction that may not be as popular as others, but is definitely worthy of some recognition. It’s become a creepy tradition for many local families, and it’s soon to become one for yours. Check it out this year and prepare for a heck of a scare!
Don't miss out on one of Idaho's spookiest attractions this year and plan a visit to The Haunted Swamp in Twin Falls. This beloved local attraction may just become one of your favorite Halloween-themed spots!
The Haunted Swamp isn't your typical haunted house attraction. First of all, there is no "house." The Haunted Swamp is exactly what it sounds like—a walk through swampy terrain, complete with all of the haunted features you could desire.
Visitors will walk for approximately one mile throughout the outdoor terrain, so come prepared with warm clothing and close-toed shoes. You'll make your way over bridges and rivers, through trees and other foliage, all while bracing yourself for what's around every corner.
Actors dressed as ghosts, goblins, zombies, and other creepy creatures are awaiting your arrival in the swamp. They've got one mission: to scare the living daylights out of you. Definitely be sure to bring friends because you probably don't want to brave this alone.
The Haunted Swamp definitely knows how to give a good scare, but they also offer a "Kiddie Day" for the little ones. Kiddie Day is a completely kid-friendly experience that features trick or treating, yummy food, endless games, and other forms of entertainment. This year it will take place on October 19.
The Haunted Swamp isn't the gaudiest Halloween attraction, but it sure is one of the most frightening. It's no wonder it's been voted one of the best by Idaho Haunted Houses, a website that rates and reviews all of the state's haunted events and attractions.
Treat (or trick) yourself to a howling good time this Halloween and be sure to stop by The Haunted Swamp. This humble haunt boasts some of the biggest scares the state has to offer and you don't want to miss it. Learn more about them at their website here.
What do you think? Do you have what it takes to walk through this haunted attraction? Check out another creepy destination this year when you visit this 20,000-square-foot haunted house in Idaho.
