If you want to really celebrate the season, head to Bella Organic Farm, where you'll find two different corn mazes, a pumpkin patch, and a whole lot of fun fall activities.
Start your trip with a visit to the seven-acre corn maze. The theme this year is Equality: The Time is Now. It's dedicated to the US National Women’s Soccer Team’s FIFA World Cup win and supports equal pay and equal representation in the workplace for all.
You'll have a blast exploring the 2.7 miles of paths through the maze. Plan on at least an hour to figure this one out!
While you're at the farm, you'll want to participate in some of the fun fall activities, including the grain train, cow train, hay maze, duck races, and farm animal visits.
On weekends, grab a snack at one of the food vendors, get your face painted, and pet the farm animals in the petting zoo.
You'll also want to take a free hay ride out to the Sauvie Island pumpkin patch, where you can choose the perfect pumpkin for your Halloween Jack 'O Lantern.
As the sun goes down, daring visitors will head for the haunted corn maze. Fans of the Netflix show "Stranger Things" will recognize this pattern, which was the inspiration for the maze. This maze isn't suitable for young children...it's downright terrifying.
As you make your way through, you'll be confronted by all kinds of creepy characters. Watch out for ghouls, ghosts, zombies, and even the dreaded Demogorgon.
Whether you want to visit for a fun family activity, or for the super scary haunted maze, make plans now to visit Bella Organic Farm! It's open through October 31st.
From September 23rd to October 3rd, visit daily from 9 a.m. to p.m.. After October 3rd, visit Sunday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday and Saturday until 10 p.m.
