We’ve had the first day of fall but now we’re ready to get this spooky season underway! For some thoroughly terrifying thrills and chills head to Huntsville’s haunted house, The Expelled. As the season develops so do the screams at The Expelled. This haunted house starts off mild but finishes with a petrifying finale called “Unleashed.” You may need to keep your eyes covered but let’s take a peek at this creepy attraction.
The Expelled will be open every weekend in October with some Thursdays too! The first night begins mildly with "Sissy Night" but quickly spirals into a terrorizing nightmare and a hair-raising finale. To see the full calendar of events, visit their website.
The festivities will kick off on October 3rd, 2019 with "Sissy Night." This night, as you may have guessed, is for those not ready for the terrors of the "Unleashed."
This night is perfect for anyone wanting to look at the craftsmanship that comes with creating the perfect haunted house. Flashlights are allowed and only a quarter of the actors will be roaming the halls. More of a museum experience than fright night, this first night is only $10/person.
Every scare actor has undergone an audition, safety training, and multiple rehearsals. The house has over 40 actors and over 25 detailed spaces sprawled out over 10,000 square feet. The normal nights are $15/person or $30/person for "line slashers."
On Nov. 2nd, 2019, the house will be hosting "Unleashed" for $20/person. This night is only for brave souls ages 18+ and a waiver is required before entering. After you've proven your age and signed your life away (well, just the waiver) you should expect to be touched, put into restraints and/or caskets, separated from your friends, and whatever else the monsters of the night have in store. Don't worry, you will leave unharmed and there will be a safe word provided. This rated R night is for true scare junkies.
Whether you stick with the sissies or brave the finale, every night at The Expelled will send you home with plenty of nightmare fuel.
