It’s also easy to see those landscapes up close. There are endless trolley rides, scenic drives, and zipline tours to give you a unique perspective of our beautiful state. The Lake Superior & Mississippi Railroad is a beautiful line that travels around Duluth, Minnesota. Address: 6930 Fremont Street, Duluth, MN 55807.

The railroad, which dates back to the 1860s, offers beautiful excursions aboard its beautiful train cars. They are powered by a locomotive from 1946!

To ride in, there are two coach cars, both originally built in 1912. Though there have been some remodels, each maintains its original charm.

And for the open-air experience, there is the safari car. Originally used to transport goods back in the mid-20th century, it now holds benches for sightseers!
