Part of the Friendship Loop's charm is this gorgeous boardwalk. The path winds around the trees with gentle curves for easy accessibility. The entire trail is paved and very stroller-friendly.

Take turns spotting wildlife or just enjoy the tree-filled serenity.
It may not be as remote as some of the other trails we've covered but it's impossible to not feel at one with nature along this little track. Birds and other critters seem to be in agreement as well - you'll more than likely come across other creatures enjoying the area.
A pavilion sits alongside the pond along with a grill and ample seating. After hiking and fishing, your family can refuel with some hamburgers and hot dogs.
