We Minnesotans are no strangers to wild weather – especially in the wintertime. Unlike people in many states, we tend to continue living our lives as if nothing is different. We don’t let snowy roads or frigid temperatures stop us from going to school, work, or even outdoor events. But this winter, we may be in for an unusual surprise. Sources say there’s a polar coaster headed for Minnesota this year, so we had better be prepared. Here’s what you need to know:
Every year, the Farmer's Almanac puts together a set of weather predictions across the country.
The method for deciding the predictions is top-secret - and the prediction themselves aren't always accurate - but it's always interesting to see what the Almanac comes up with.
That's not the only interesting thing the Farmer's Almanac predicted for this winter. They also say that we're in for a season of above-average snowfall.
Basically, it's time to prepare right now for the long winter ahead. Upgrade your snow boots, get new tires, and get ready to settle in for the cold season!
