There’s lots of delicious eats on Alaska’s Kodiak Island, but arguable the tastiest sandwiches in Kodiak are at Java Flats! Head to this little out of the way cafe for delicious sandwiches, cookies, and coffee. There’s a reason why it’s number one on TripAdvisor for quick eats!
It's a 15 minute drive, but once you get there you won't regret a single second of it. The cafe is filled with a fantastic atmosphere, including chalk board menus and beautiful wooden tables.
They are so popular there is frequently a line outside the front door during lunch hours. If you're in a hurry make sure to order ahead, so you can swing through and quickly grab them!
