The Mississippi coastline was once covered with lighthouses. However, after years of hurricanes and major advancements in ocean navigation many of Mississippi’s lighthouses no longer exist. Luckily, the Round Island Lighthouse has been preserved and is now safely situated in mainland Pascagoula. Take your family on a weekend trip to climb to the top of this idyllic gulf lighthouse.
Round Island Lighthouse is only open for tours on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 AM until 5 PM. Admission for the self-guided tour is $2 for adults and $1 for children.
