Cherokee Rock Village covers approximately 200 acres and is one of the best rock climbing destinations in the United States. Some of the boulders are believed to be around 300 million years old. Cherokee Rock Village is best known for its breathtaking views.

Old Alabama Town is a unique historical village that features a great collection of 19th and early 20th century homes and buildings. Harper Lee was from Monroeville and her father practiced law in this actual courtroom. The Old Courthouse Museum features several exhibits, and visitors are allowed to tour the courtroom. Old Cahawba, which is also referred to as Cahawba and Cahaba, was Alabama's first state capital (1820-1826). It's currently operated as Old Cahawba Archeological Park, which showcases several abandoned buildings that have been preserved.
