In between Willow and Talkeetna stands a very tall, and very familiar looking structure… the Dr. Seuss House!

Of course, this is not the real Dr. Suess House, but it does share a striking resemblance to it. The man who originally owned the home intended to build a house with a view of Denali off in the distance. However, as the years progressed, his view was obstructed by tree growth and so he added floor after floor until his death ten years after its construction.

The home sat abandoned for quite some time until recently when a private buyer purchased the home and set to fixing it up. Check out the incredible drone footage of the home as well as a news report with awesome shots of the interior renovations!
