Thousand Lakes RV Park is just six miles from Capitol Reef National Park, and it's the perfect place to stay when you're exploring the park. This place is much more than just an RV park, though. It's a camping village that will make you feel right at home.
Address: 1110 UT-24, Torrey, UT, 84775
The campground is family-owned and operated. The family has lived here in Torrey for two generations now, so they know all about the area, and can give you all kinds of ideas for exploring this beautiful landscape.
This place is like a little village, with all the things a community needs to thrive. The gift shop carries tons of great Southwestern gifts, snacks, firewood and more. The building also houses a hair salon to keep you looking your best, even while camping.
The grassy meadow surrounding the campsites provide plenty of space to kick a ball around, and the kids can burn off some energy on the playground equipment.
After a long day of hiking in Capitol Reef National Park, you'll enjoy a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool.
Then, head over to the grill to enjoy a tasty chuckwagon dinner in the open air pavilion.
Try some savory smoked ribs, or sink your teeth into a juicy Ribeye. The grilled salmon is also delicious.
Whether you prefer to camp in a tent, an RV, or a cabin, Thousand Lakes has a site for you. Shady tent sites include a picnic table, fire ring, and privacy screen for just $20 per night.
Bring your RV and stay in a site with full hookups. You'll enjoy free Wi-Fi, cable TV, 20/30/50 amp service, and more. Tent and RV campers also have access to clean restrooms with hot showers, and laundry facilities.
The views from the campsites is absolutely amazing! You won't find many campgrounds with stunning views like this.
