The Remnants Of This Abandoned Louisiana Amusement Park Are Both Devastating And Beautiful
Originally called Jazzland, New Orleanians rejoiced when this exciting amusement park was constructed in the New Orleans East neighborhood. Eventually, Jazzland wasn’t able to maintain itself and was bought out by Six Flags, which was seen as a big improvement and a hopeful sign for the park. But just three years later, Hurricane Katrina struck the site, and the park has been abandoned ever since. There have been a few developers interested in taking over the site, but as of today it still remains abandoned.
And finally, this adventuresome group of explorers went ahead and checked out the park on their own. Here’s a video exploring their discoveries while going through the park.
What do you think will be the future of this park? Will it ever be rebuilt? Or will it be left to decay for generations to come? Have you ever paid a visit since the storm? Let us know about your adventures in the comments below!
