This beautiful river walk in Baton Rouge will transport you to another world, and it’s a great attraction for families with kids of all ages. Few other major rivers in the country are as historically significant as the Mighty Mississippi. Luckily, Baton Rouge has taken great strides to showcase this beautiful waterway, and it’s worthy of a visit.
Visitors to this scenic spot nestled on the Mississippi River can enjoy a variety of activities, including a biking/walking trail, parks, nearby museums, and delicious restaurants.
While you’re out and about in the area, a visit to the USS KIDD is a must. This historic battleship is open for tours and is a great attraction for families with kids of all ages.
