I live in a house full of bbq lovers, and while it’s not my favorite food, I do love a good hot link from time to time. Part of the requirement of living with bbq connoisseurs is having to try all the bbq restaurants we come across. We travel quite a bit in the state for sports, so we have sampled over a few dozen barbecue joints in every part of the state. One of our favorites (along with hundreds of others based on raving reviews) is Albert G’s in Tulsa.

Albert G's has two locations in Tulsa, one of which is located on Harvard Street in an old filling station. They recently added on and remodeled, so you'd never guess you're sitting in an old gas station.

Right when you walk in you'll see the new expansion that features flat screen televisions and lots of space for a large group. Since 1992 they've been cooking up some of the best bbq in the state.

Head over to the counter and place your order being choosing a seat. You'll find all your favorites on the menu, plus a few extra sides you don't always find at bbq spots.

The hot links are nice and spicy and are some of the best I've ever had. The meals come with a side of Texas Toast so you can make sandwiches with the meat too.

There’s a little ghost town in Oklahoma that’s home to world-class bbq and you’re going to want to try it. Smok-Shak has been serving tasty bbq for over 30 years in Ingersoll – once a bustling rail town in the Sooner State.
