If beautiful weather gets you itching to get outside, there’s a restaurant in Aurora, Illinois with a massive outdoor patio you’ve got to see. You’ll never want to dine anywhere else after you’ve had a meal at this establishment.
History, live entertainment, and fresh food come together for a lovely dining experience you’ll be bragging about for days. Check it out:
The Two Brothers Roundhouse in northern Illinois is one of a chain of sister restaurants in the Chicagoland area that are known for their craft brews and excellent atmospheres. This one, in particular, is popular for its outdoor seating and occasional live entertainment.
Guests can choose to sit inside the roundhouse. Constructed in 1856, it is made of limestone from Batavia, Illinois and was once used for the Chicago & Aurora Railroad. It is even listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The massive outdoor patio is where the magic happens, though. Cafe-style seating surrounds a giant gazebo under which many different styles of music are played. Keep an ear out for jazz, blues, rock, classical, and much more.
When it comes to the menu, you'll find a mix of classic dinner and pub fare. Nachos, wings, burgers, fish tacos, fried pickle spears, chili, and much more will please even the pickiest eaters.
The menu also consists of lamb t-bone, cajun chicken pasta, seafood, brisket, short ribs, and more. You can have any sort of meal you like at this excellent eatery.
In addition to this massive outdoor patio, there is also ample space for banquets such as weddings, corporate events, and other private parties. Your guests will never forget a night at this historic and gorgeous venue.
Two Brothers Roundhouse is open Monday through Thursday between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m., Friday between 11 a.m. and 12 a.m., and Saturday between 10 a.m. and 12 a.m. Get more details on its website or Facebook page.
