2 Vincent's Drug Store & Soda Fountain - Johns Island, SC
Vincent's is locally owned and a favorite among locals as well as visitors at nearby Kiawah and Seabrook Islands. Step into Vincent's and step back in time to a good old-fashioned '50s pharmacy with a soda counter. More info here.
Throwback to the days when you'd go to Myrtle Beach as a kid. Step out the back door of this '50s style diner and you're only a few steps from the ocean. More info here.
The Alley is Downtown Charleston's only bowling alley. But it's much more than that. They have great food, beverages for those of us who are over 21, lots of "theme nights" that go hand-in-hand with the retro theme and skee ball, ping-pong, dozens of old school vintage arcade games, basketball hoops and more. 5. Wyndham Ocean Blvd Hotel - North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
The Beacon has been a southern landmark in Spartanburg since 1946. They're known for their Chili-Cheese A-Plenty, a chili-cheeseburger buried underneath piles of sweet onion rings and french-fried potatoes. Yum. More info here.
Do not let the name fool you. Leon's may have the best fried chicken in all of Charleston (just like Mom used to make) but they have much more. Fresh fish, salads - and oysters served four delicious ways, including charbroiled. More info here.

Wow! A 1950 Studebaker Starlight Coupe! Eating at the Bantam Chef in Chesnee is like eating in a souped-up retro machine. From the location itself to all the memorabilia (it's everywhere), the Bantam Chef is a treat for the taste buds, the eye buds and the nostalgia buds alike. More info here.

12. Big Mo - The Monetta Drive In Theatre - Monetta, SC
The Monetta Drive-in was opened in 1951, closed in 1986 and reopened in 1989 as "The Big Mo." At the moment, the BIG MO is closed for the winter season and will re-open in March. So we're afraid you'll have to save the date on this one, but keep her on your list! More info here.
