If pizza could have its own block on the food pyramid, you know most people would probably be all for a new addition. It’s a delectable blend of warm, melty cheese, savory toppings (or perhaps sweet, you pineapple lovers!) all stacked on a crust of freshly baked bread. It’s all you really need, right? Right. Nona Lisa Pizzeria is located outside of Nashville, Tennessee in the tiny town of Watertown. Sweet, quaint and homey, this Tennessee gem hides a pizzeria like no other. It’s well worth the trip!
Nona Lisa Pizzeria is a local fan favorite, recommended by spades of locals and tourists for its cozy atmosphere and delicious menu options. If you're craving authentic Italian in the American south, this restaurant is the place for you.
The space is homey and intimate, family-friendly and perfect for folks who are looking to settle in and indulge. No need to put on your fancy pants for a trip to Nona Lisa! Although, of course, you could. The inviting atmosphere is also great for a chill date night.
Of course, no matter how darling the interior design is, it's the pizza that takes the cake. The salads are affordable and great as a side, and you can order the classic Nona Bread, filled with garlic butter, garlic slices and cheese, to keep you sated as you wait for the main event.
There are three sizes of pizzas to order: the eight-inch, 12-inch and 16-inch. Indulge in one of Nona Lisa's deluxe specialty pizzas, like the Crunch Chicken Ranch (only available as a 16-inch), or the simple BLT pizza, topped with lettuce, mayo, bacon, and black pepper.
It's sure to keep the whole family happy! If you aren't much of a pizza fan or want something different, there are weekly pizza specials and calzones on the menu as well. There are even chicken tenders for the pickiest of eaters!
Nona Lisa Pizzeria is an authentic experience in the heart of Tennessee, and that's hard to come by. This sweet southern establishment is locally owned and operated, treating every visitor like one of their own. Come to indulge, but come to be welcomed.
Visit for yourself every day of the week but Monday, when it's closed. From Tuesday to Thursday you can visit from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m, and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Friday to Sunday. Happy pizza eating!
