The very best part of summer in Wisconsin is when all the fresh fruits and vegetables start to ripen. There’s simply nothing better than fresh, juicy, plump strawberries fresh from the vines. Cedarburg, just north of Milwaukee, is one of the most adorable, quaint, historic towns in Wisconsin. They celebrate the summer solstice with a strawberry festival and you’re going to want to check it out.
The Cedarburg Strawberry Festival takes place Saturday, June 22, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (though the main stage will be open until 8:30 p.m.) And on Sunday, June 23, 2019, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The festival runs through downtown Cedarburg on Washington Avenue between Bridge Street and Western Avenue. Parking and a shuttle are available from Cedarburg’s Firemen’s Park.
Parking address: 796 Washington Avenue, Cedarburg, WI, 53012.
