We normally reserve the telling of ghost stories for Halloween, but when we heard this one we just had to share. With so much history in New Hampshire, many of local tales of woe take place in old taverns and homes dotted around the state. Interestingly, this one takes place high atop Mount Washington. And, it’s one of the creepiest we’ve ever heard.
Another spooky ghost story takes place in this old tavern located in Nashua. It’s still open today and a visit might mean coming face to face with their own local apparition.
