Grubsteakers Restaurant in northern Illinois is a local watering hole that locals of this small town have loved for nearly 30 years. Its only claim to fame is that it was completely destroyed by a tornado in 2015, but this resilient and well-loved joint has since rebuilt itself to be bigger and better than ever.
Situated at the corner of Route 64 and Route 251, this remote country restaurant is a roadside diner that attracts members of the community and travelers alike. Guests love the laid-back atmosphere, no-frills decor, and friendly staff.
