Sunny days mean plenty of outdoor fun in the fresh air. Here’s a perfectly picturesque park in Springville, and you’ll want to bring your bathing suit along, because it features a pretty pond with a beautiful beach.
Welcome to Wayne Bartholomew Park! This lovely park is the perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon.
The pond spans more than three acres, and the clean, clear water is perfect for all kinds of water fun. Bring your kayak or stand up paddle board to explore the pond, or go for a swim.
The pond is stocked with trout, and you'll want to bring your fishing poles to catch a couple. The limit is two fish, and anglers ages 12 and older must have a valid Utah fishing license.
Amenities at Wayne Bartholomew Park include five large pavilions that accommodate groups from 20 people up to 40. There's also a snack shack, which opens around Memorial Day every year, restrooms, and a volleyball court (you can check out volleyball equipment here, too).
Springville residents may receive one free permit per household by applying at the Civic Center, Clyde Recreation Center, or the Parks and Recreation Office. Photo ID and proof of residency is required. Non-residents must pay $10 to park.
For more information, visit the park’s website. Have you visited this park before? We’d love to hear about your experience there!
