When you’re feeling gutsy, yet want to shy away from truly dangerous trails (most people do!), head to Eno River State Park for a hike the whole family will love.

The hike takes you up and over Cox Mountain with an elevation gain of 270 feet. It can get a little steep, but slow and steady will get you there.

Eno River State Park has several access points. The Few’s Ford Access is where you’ll find the trailhead. It’s open year-round beginning at 7:00 a.m. This park access closes at different times depending upon the month.
