Leah moved to North Dakota when she was 12 years old and has traveled from the Red River Valley to the badlands and many places in between. She loves small-town life and currently enjoys living on a small farm in the ND prairie. She's always had a passion for writing and has participated in novel writing challenges such as NaNoWriMo multiple times. Her favorite part about this job is recognizing small businesses that deserve a boost and seeing the positive affect her articles can have on their traffic, especially in rural areas that might have otherwise gone overlooked.
Tis the season for all the parks to reopen as school gets closer to letting out for summer and families spend weekends out and about. A popular family fun park in North Dakota just opened its gates for the 2019 season and you’ll want to take full advantage of it while you can. The whole family, from tiny tots to grandma and grandpa, can have fun at this place:
Thunder Road is a family fun park that's not to be missed in Fargo, North Dakota.
There are two unique 18-hole mini golf courses with many features. Rivers and waterfalls and even a volcano are some of the obstacles you will be golfing around.
When you're done with putt-putt, you can head over to the batting cages and get a few swings in. And we're still just getting started with Thunder Road's fun options.
Thunder Road is known well for their great go-kart races. Start your engines and get ready to speed around the winding turns and see who comes out the winner.
The go-karts are perfect for the entire family, with many single karts and double karts for parents riding with a small child. The track is 1100 feet long and full of thrills.
Indoors you'll find lazer tag and a full arcade, as the fun just never seems to end. Thunder Road has it all and can easily fill up a whole day for you and your family to enjoy!
This isn’t the only spot in North Dakota where you can visit an amusement park; one of the oldest in the state is still up and running today in Bismarck. Read more by clicking here!
