Homer has a number of incredible restaurants. Located on the coast in one of the most beautiful spots in Alaska, locals and tourists alike flock to this artistic beach town with the incredible views. La Baleine Cafe, brain child of the owners of Tutka Bay Lodge across the bay, has outdone itself with fresh, organic food served right on the water in Homer!

There is some incredible food being served in Homer, Alaska.
All throughout the city you will find restaurants utilizing local farmers and crafting thoughtful dishes with some of the freshest ingredients in Alaska. There's one, however, that stands out among giants!
La Baleine Cafe is a tiny little spot on the Homer Spit.
The Baleine Cafe sources as much as possible from the local farmers and fisherman. You can be satisfied that you are enjoying some of the freshest food in Alaska!
Expect everything from Alaskan Salmon burgers to buttermilk thyme biscuits and gravy. They have a menu designed to satisfy even the pickiest of tastes!
Although the cafe is small and seating is limited, they have plenty of picnic tables outside.
Enjoy your tasty meal with incredible views of the ocean and mountains nearby. While sipping on your coffee you count the hanging glaciers across the bay!
If this delicious cafe alone wasn't enough to tempt you, they've recently opened up a gorgeous little coffee shop next door!
You can try out both of these incredible little spots at 4460 Homer Spit Rd, Homer, AK 99603. There may be a wait during the summer, but it is very much worth it! Grab a picnic table outside if it's sunny, and enjoy the best lunch in Homer!
