Spring is in the air and that means that the fields will soon be full to the brim with fresh produce. Strawberries are our favorite springtime treat, and there’s no better way to spend a sunny, spring day than by picking your own. Load the family up in the car and make the drive to Greensboro to visit Rudd Farm.
Rudd Farm got its start as a tobacco farm back in the early 1900s. Today, the fourth generation of the Rudd family farms this land, and the family converted over to strawberries in 2000.
You'll find Rudd Farm at 4021 Hicone Rd.,
Greensboro, North Carolina.
With almost 12 acres of berries, you're sure to find plenty to fill up your basket. Breathe in the fresh, spring air - doesn't it feel amazing after being cooped up inside over the long, winter months?
Learn more about Rudd Farm on its website, and follow its Facebook page to see what’s up this season. Are you excited to pick your own strawberries this season? Tell us about the treats you’ll make with your fresh berries!
