Located in Clark County, about 20 minutes east of the Vegas Strip, is a place called Clark County Wetlands Park This 2,900-acre park is the largest in the county and features amazingly serene landscapes, plenty of wildlife, and endless opportunities for adventure.
The park is open daily and there is no fee for admittance. If you really want to see the best of what the park has to offer, you'll want to head straight to the 14-mile Wetlands Loop Trail. The loop serves as a perimeter trail in the park and is perfect for exploring every corner of the wetlands area.
The trail is well-paved and regularly maintained so it's perfect for hikers of all skill levels. It doesn't hurt that the attractive boardwalk looks perfectly enchanting amid the stunning wetlands landscape.
Alternatively, you can hop onto one of the Duck Creek Trails. Comprised of three separate trails, these paths will take you through tall shrubs, grass, and trees.
You can't help but feel as if you've been transported to a different world as you delve deeper within the park. You'll find yourself surrounded by small streams, ponds, a diverse array of plants, and sweet solitude.
