It’s officially Spring in New Hampshire and that means you’ve got every excuse in the world to get outside! Not that you needed one – you DO live in New Hampshire, afterall. What we love most about this time of year is the long list of outdoor activities that suddenly come popping up all around us. Trails, lakes and streams that were closed all winter begin to thaw and little-by-little we watch those around us flock to them. It’s one of the best times of year. So, make the most of it by visiting this alpine adventure course. It’s got just the right amount of thrill for everyone.
Alpine Adventures, located in Lincoln, is a great place to spend a few hours on a beautiful day.
One of the most loved is the Thrillsville Aerial Park, which features an impressive network of ropes and ladders for those wanting to challenge themselves and their fear of heights.
You'll find bridges, cargo nets, rope ladders, ziplines, a treehouse and the famous Climbing Tower. You can even choose to glide down the two ziplines. Speaking of ziplines...
There are two different tours that will let you feel like a soaring bird. The first is the Treetop Canopy Tour featuring 6 separate ziplines ranging from 250 – 1,000 feet. These let visitors travel through the canopy at about 80′ above the ground!
And, for those seeking some serious adventure they've got the Super Skyrider Tour. This features more suspension bridges, bigger platforms, climbing elements and two "zap-lines," a twist on the traditional zipline.
We also love the Off-Road Adventure tour which features a journey in a Pinzgauers, a 6-wheel drive Swiss army transport vehicle. In these visitors will travel to the top of Barron Mountain for the most incredible views.
Alpine Adventures Outdoor Recreation is located at 41 Main St., Lincoln, New Hampshire. They’re open everyday but Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can learn more about what’s on offer by going to their website. Or, visit them on Facebook. You can reach them on 603-745-9911.
While you’re planning your springtime fun, make sure you add some food. This restaurant feels like a treehouse and will give you the most lush views you can imagine in New Hampshire.
