When you’re craving a burger and fries, you have plenty of options in Nebraska, but if you want to go right back to the good old days of curbside service, you’ll want to visit Mac’s Drive In in McCook. Take a look:
Mac's Drive In was built in 1957, and it's been serving tasty burgers, fries, and shakes ever since.
You'll find this little gem at 809 W. B St., McCook, NE 69001.
The drive in has always offered curbside service, and you can still order and enjoy your meal right from your car. Every parking spot has its own menu board with a speaker for ordering.
If you'd rather sit at a table to eat, step into the dining room and choose a colorful booth. This restaurant is definitely retro with its lava rock-walls and plastic booths.
The food at Mac's is downright delicious. Sink your teeth into a tasty burger; there are five to choose from. They're all made with 100 percent ground beef, and the patties are freshly-formed right here - never frozen.
Other delicious menu items include a selection of sandwiches and salads, corn dogs and hot dogs, fries, onion rings, and deep-fried mushrooms. Bring your appetite!
Stop by for your burger and fry fix at Mac's Drive In Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday till 10 p.m.. The drive-in is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
