Texas is an absolute goldmine for antiques, but this charming shop is in a league entirely its own. Gruene Antique Company not only sells nostalgic treasures you can’t find anywhere else, but it’s also located in a building that’s more than 100 years old. Check it out:
Dating back to 1903, this historic locale once housed Gruene's very first bank vault. It also served as a home base for tenant farmers to operate out of before being converted into an antique mall in 1986.
Today, the building has been restored just enough to make it functional without sacrificing any originality or charm. Merely stepping inside immediately turns back the hands of time.
All 6500 square feet of the shop are packed floor-to-ceiling with unique items you won't find anywhere else. Whether you're in the market for vintage home decor, period furniture, or appliances from yesteryear, rest assured it can be found in this treasure trove.
