Hamilton earns their spot on the list with an almost non-existent high school dropout rate and the fact that nearly 26% of its residents have a Bachelor's degree or higher.
East Helena is one smart city. Their high school dropout rate is virtually zero, and nearly 30% of the locals have a Bachelor's degree or higher.

Colstrip may be full of blue collar workers, but that doesn't mean they aren't college educated. About 30% of residents have college diplomas.

Bozeman has been consistently ranked one of Montana's smartest cities for decades, sometimes topping the list. They're currently at number 7, with a 1% high school dropout rate and a college education rate of 56.45%.
The charming city of Lewistown is also a very smart one. 30.14% of the population has a college degree, and the high school dropout rate is roughly 0%.
