Tucked away in the Sierra Nevada foothills, Hillenbrand Farmhaus Brewery is an experience unlike any other. Not only do they serve amazing hand-crafted beers, but they do it in the most stunning farmhouse setting!
Hillenbrand opened pretty recently, back in October 2017. However, they've already made a name for themselves as a brew lover's haven. Located on a 13-acre farm near Newcastle, this farmhouse brewery couldn't be any more picturesque.
The brewery is home to a tasting room where you'll find eight of their house beers on tap. Hillenbrand's brews are known for their notes of fruit and honey, all of which come from the property itself. We've heard of "farm-to-fork", but is "field-to-pint glass" a thing?
If you're looking for something light and drinkable, check out the Blonde Nugget or Farmhaus Saison (with notes of lemon zest and toasted coriander.) Want something more unique? You're Killing Me S'mores is a dessert-style brown ale created with toasted marshmallows. Yum!
