15 Undeniable Things Every True Hoosier Has Done At Least Once

Okay, okay – maybe you haven’t done all of these things or visited all these places, but I guarantee that some of them will resonate with most Hoosiers. These are the top 15 things Hoosiers have done at least once, twice or hundred times. Are any of these a tradition in your Indiana family?
1. Stopped by Oliver Winery just to take a picture in front of their pretty landscaping and huge boulders.
2. Remember that time you took your whole family by Lucas Oil stadium just to see how awesome it looks?
3. Who has forgotten to get in the I-69 lane before the traffic is backed up? Then there is no room to switch lanes...oh crap!
4. Everyone has been to the Indy 500 at least once. Right?
5. Hey kids, let's get up really early and take a family trip to the Indianapolis Zoo. We can totally beat the crowd!
6. Thought silently to yourself, "Why in the world is the Children's Museum in one of the most violent zip codes in the state? Can it be moved?"

7. Fed the carp at Indiana Beach.
8. Visited Marengo Cave or at least saw the sign pointing there.

10. In elementary school, most of us landed a field trip to Conner Prairie. It has over 200 acres filled with attractions from making furniture to churning butter.

11. Took a nice Sunday stroll to Brown County during the change of colors.
12. Every Hoosier has their own opinion about Bob Knight and has at least once caught somebody in a deep discussion about aggressive scenarios. The Anger Management conversations are a must have.
13. You are either a Purdue fan or an IU fan. You also always have that one close friend or family member that is the exact opposite of you.Cheers!
14. Spring Mill Park has 1,358 acres for hiking, camping and watching wildlife. Camping at Spring Mill has been a southern Indiana tradition for most residents.

15. Lastly, crossing the I-65 bridge into Kentucky and having that undeniable feeling of sadness. I just love Indiana, sorry Kentucky!
