Come winter, there’s something truly magical about a snowy, icy landscape. In Minnesota this winter, it will become even more magical around January 5, 2019. That’s when this year’s Ice Castles is opening in the city of Excelsior. Just like last year’s castle in Stillwater, the Excelsior ice castle is sure to be a beautiful, fun attraction that everyone in the family will love. The Excelsior ice castle will be located at the Commons on the shore of Lake Minnetonka. The address is 135 Lake Street, Excelsior, Minnesota 55331.
No matter when you come, there will be plenty of activities to go around. After you stroll through the castle, look for some of your favorite characters. Elsa, Anna, and Olaf from Frozen are known to make appearances.
Ice Castles is a fantastic winter attraction that is always immensely popular. It is best to buy tickets in advance when they go on sale. Tickets range from $7.95 to $15.95 depending on age and day.
