Nearly everyone played in a sandbox at least once during childhood. Reliving those memories as an adult is entirely possible here in Arizona, although this experience might be a tad more memorable. This giant park near Yuma is full of undulating sand dunes, some of which stand over 300 feet tall! Whether you’re a motocross enthusiast or simply enjoy taking in beautiful scenery, Imperial Sand Dunes is a can’t-miss attraction.
Have you ever been to Imperial Sand Dunes? Do pictures do the incredible views justice? If you have any that you snapped while you were here, be sure to share them in our Arizona Nature Lovers Facebook group!
