It's a habit to have some with you most places in Wyoming — even if you're just getting out of the car for a quick stroll. When you try to bring bear spray on a hike in, say, Texas, you might get some strange looks.

Wyomingites leave their cars on a LOT, and that's not all that common out of state. We don't really have to worry about car thieves in the wild west, and it's pretty cold out here, so we let the engine run.
