Life in Wyoming is unlike life anywhere else. Once you’ve out here for long enough, you’ll end up with habits that might make you stand out when you travel outside of Wyoming. Are you guilty of getting strange looks when you’ve done any of the below?
It's a habit to have some with you most places in Wyoming — even if you're just getting out of the car for a quick stroll. When you try to bring bear spray on a hike in, say, Texas, you might get some strange looks.
Wyomingites leave their cars on a LOT, and that's not all that common out of state. We don't really have to worry about car thieves in the wild west, and it's pretty cold out here, so we let the engine run. Hey, even when our cars are in our driveways, chances are the keys are just hanging out on the front seat.

Lots of Wyomingites don't have cable — whether the reason is logistically, or financial. We aren't inside much to enjoy it, so it feels like a waste. And some of us really do live off the grid! When we travel out of state and stay in a hotel, getting excited about watching cable can draw some looks.

There are SO many places in America where you can't carry guns anymore, but you won't find many in Wyoming. Trying to travel across state lines with your weapon is something you've got to be careful with, though. Many states don't recognize out-of-state CCLs.
