This Holiday Light Road Trip In Louisiana Is Perfect For The Entire Family

Recently, we featured the Louisiana Holiday Trail of Lights, which takes you through some of the most decorated towns in northern Louisiana. This time, we’re going to take you through the southern part of the state, highlighting some of the most beautiful holiday lighting displays that are perfect for the entire family. Check it out:

Come stroll through Zoosiana with your family and enjoy the annual Safari of Lights, complete with dozens of illuminated displays featuring some of your favorite animals. The Safari of Lights is on display takes place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. until December 30th, and you’ll find it at 5601 US 90 E. Broussard, LA 70518.

Head on over to the Rice Capital of the World so see more than 200,000 dazzling animated displays synchronized to music. You never have to leave your car at this spectacular drive-thru attraction, just be sure to tune your radio to 93.3 FM to listen to the music. The lights will be on display every evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in downtown Crowley.

Noel Acadien Au Village

From November 30 until December 23, 2018, the Acadian Village in Lafayette transforms into Claude’s Enchanted Village - and it’s a place you have to see to believe. Thousands of lights illuminate the village and there will be opportunities to have your picture taken with Santa and, of course, Claude the Elf! You’ll find the fun at 200 Greenleaf Dr., Lafayette, LA 70506.

Perhaps the most immersive drive-through Christmas experience in Louisiana, Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland is not to be missed. Drive through two miles of amazing, illuminated displays and twinkling lights all synchronized to your favorite Christmas songs. You can catch the display every evening from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. until January 6, 2019, at 9039 S. St. Landry Ave., Gonzales, LA 70737.
