While many are fascinated with trains – including model trains – few people know about this new 16,000 square foot indoor train park in South Carolina. It’s filled with various model train scale displays – and a big area for small children (and kids at heart) to play with train sets. Take a peek below at all of the joy and fun found in an old retired mill building that’s been repurposed into this fun indoor attraction:
Having moved in 2017 from their previous location over near Falls Park in Greenville, the Model Trains Station is now found inside Taylors Mill Development in Taylors.
Prepare for hours of entertainment and complete awe from watching the trains and observing the very detailed displays.
There's a complete set developed with only German pieces literally purchased during several trips to Germany, and carried back to the states in order to build an entire little German town with a train that passes through.
With all the added room, it's becoming THE place to host birthday parties. They set aside nearly 1500 square feet just for parties — and then filled it with train-themed activities like Thomas the Tank sets.
